Knitting cowls are my weakness! I could be in the middle of knitting something I really want to get done but if I see a cowl I want to do I often get side tracked. They feel like a quick little project that doesn’t take up much time. To me cowls (or snoods as they are often known in the UK) are much more desirable than a scarf. I hate that you have to wrap a scarf and then it unravels and then it drops on the floor… UGH! Anyways!
I came across 2 balls of Rowan Aran Tweed that mom and I got in a goody bag when we went to visit Rowan up in West Yorkshire. I looked up the yarn in Ravelry to get some ideas and came across this lovely cowl…
I loved that I could use both colours I had and it called for 2 balls of each. It was destiny! It’s even reversible!…
I’m going to add a couple of more stripe repeats to use up more of the yarn but I’m still over half done. Now we just need some cool weather to use it! It got up to 24 degrees here in southern Ontario this week. Crazy right!
