Coming back to the UK wasn’t too bad because my copy of Elizabeth Hartman’s new book “Modern Patch Work” was ready to be picked up at the post office.
I really liked her first book, very inspiring…
I haven’t had a chance to really look at the second book yet but I’ve taken a few pics of things that have caught my eye so far…
I particularly like how at the end of a pattern she shows different colour/fabric options. It helps to get the creative juices flowing…
Hmmmm, I have all summer to think about fabric for these projects because I leave for Canada on Sunday until the end of August. I will spend 3 weeks at a cottage in Georgian Bay enjoying family, swimming, the sun and lots of reading! I can’t wait. I will try to make a few posts before and after we go but once there it’s all about no electronics!
