I’m leaving on a jet plane…

With a brand new beautiful cowl (long Honey Cowl in Madelinetosh Tosh DK) from Mom! I will feel so loved as I embark on a new life adventure with my husband John (Johnny-boy, John Hudson.)

Here’s the long story short…my husband got a new job at the head office in England soooooo before Christmas we packed all of our belongings (except for a ton of stuff which is KINDLY being stored at the lovely Andrew and Nicola’s!) and are leaving Milton, ON, Canada for Harpenden, Hertfordshire, UK. I have quit my job as a grade 3 teacher and am going to mold the young minds of little British children instead. My parents have let us stay with them for over 2 months now and this Tuesday morning we fly out.

My intention is to keep everyone updated on my adventures, both crafty and life. I hope to have a lot pictures to share soon! Hopefully you will get a chuckle or two of me adapting to “LITTLE BRITAIN”!

  1. Wow. How exciting. Lucky you. You will have an amazing time visiting all that the UK and Europe has to offer. Good luck with the new blog and business venture. We will be very interested to read.

  2. Sarah and John..how exciting! I must admit I am a tinge jealous of all the new adventures you will enjoy. Scott and I wish you well and look forward to reading more!

  3. Great to read this Sarah. I had no idea that you were a knit-aholic. Enjoy England. Whereabouts is Hertfordshire. (I should know and could look it up but, you know….)
    Cheers, Peter.

    • Hi, thx! We are in Harpenden exactly which is not too far north of London. We have a station here so I’m looking forward to easy trips into London. Take care.
